Aspiring Officers

If you want to become a law enforcement officer but you don’t know where to start, this is the program for you. The application and hiring process can be lengthy and confusing. Luckily, we have you covered. It is our job to help our clients simplify this process and take the proper steps to get the job done in the most efficient way possible.

The problem: Recruits are not provided with proper training and resources to prepare for the Physical Training Test or the hiring process. The result is many of them give up on their dreams because they are not physically fit or prepared for the process. Due to the increased demand of law enforcement applicants and the minimal amount of job positions available, it takes going above and beyond the average candidate in order to be selected as one of the few who are ultimately offered a position.

The moment you step foot into an academy or boot camp scenario, you are being assessed for your leadership abilities and your level of physical fitness. When you show up and make a statement on day 1, you will set the tone not only for your experience in training, but for your entire career. The P.A.T.H. Academy Preparation Program is designed specifically to prepare you both mentally and physically for the strenuous physical fitness tests you will encounter along the way.

In an academy or boot camp setting, your physical fitness abilities will be tested. The majority of the fitness requirements are designed to stress your cardiovascular conditioning and aerobic capacity as well as your muscular strength and endurance training capabilities. When it comes to muscular strength and endurance training, you will be performing primarily bodyweight exercises, such as push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups. Your cardiovascular conditioning and aerobic capacity will be tested primarily during running exercises, anywhere between 1-5 miles at varying paces. This program is structured to improve upon these specific areas of fitness and will continuously challenge you each week.

When it comes to law enforcement and military, leadership and physical abilities are held to a high regard. A leader who is able to confidently display a command presence and have the ability to perform the physical tasks of their job at a high level will be destined for success. Whether you are preparing for a PT test, boot camp, an academy, or just simply looking for a challenging program that is structured to take your cardiovascular conditioning, strength and endurance training capabilities to the next level, the PATH Police Academy Preparation Program is the program for you.
